Norristownmom.com is a resource to help you know what's going on in your neighborhood, but I'm just a stay-at-home mom trying to help people that live around me. Here are a list of some big websites that have lots of information, just not necessarily all in your back yard.
Go City Kids - This is by far the best resource out there for information for kids, you may have to search a couple of different ways but you'll find lots of new and exciting things. Philly Fun Guide - They have a great list of activities for parents as well as kids. The link goes right to the kids section. DancingMeatballs.com - You have to sign up for this great FREE newsletter. They email you once a week with cheap/free activities to do in and around the city, most of the events seem to be in Philly, but you can't beat their variety. Metro Kids - This magazine has great information, but my favorite part is their calendar, they have great activities. Curious Parents - A great list of events and things to do around our area. Bucks County Alive - This website has a very thorough events listing for all things in Bucks County. I think it's a great site. Lila Guide - Similar to the two above, they each that cover different informtion. This site specializes in comments from moms around the area. Field Trip - This site has so many great things for you to do in this area. Go Phila - The official visitor site for Philadelphia and the surrounding area.
