Links for Kids
This page has a section on online games for kids, a section of books and interactive stories online, a section on activites and crafts you can do with your kids not on the computer, and the last section is a list of sites you can use if you want to teach your preschooler while they're still at home. If you want to search through the best site ever with every resource check out Kidssites.com. Note: I didn't play each and every game so please check out first before you let your children play.
Online Games - I tried to break up the websites by age, but there is definitely overlap. I can't stand websites with so much advertising that the kids don't know what's giong on - so those aren't listed here, if it's a good site with some advertising I will tell you so in the description.
Infants - 2
Kneebouncers - This site is really simple. They have activities that work just by your little one or you pressing any key. I really like the peek-a-boo.
Fisher Price - Lots of online games for babies and toddlers.
Math games - From PBS these games teach early math concepts.
2-5
Do 2 Learn - Different games to learn anything from facial expressions, to colors, to nouns.
Noggin - A whole bunch of interactive games from your kids favorite shows.
Bob the Builder Games - These are great for kids 2-3 that watch Bob, the games are simple.
Little People Online Games - They have a variety of games that will entertain your kid.
Digicolor- The best online coloring activitiy on the web, you can use any combination of any crayola product.
Pauly's Game Page - These games are just for fun. Some are really just for 4 and 5 year olds so check it out first with your kid.
Sesame Street - Great online games for everyone from 2-5.
PBS kids - Lots of online games with characters they know.
PBS - Math games.
Thomas the Tank Engine Games -
Lots of different activities that you can do with thomas.
Dr. Seuss Games - Very simple but fun games with all the illustrations from Dr. Seuss.
Fun School - Great games, some advertising, you have to look around to find all the games.
Lilfingers - Short little games for 2-3 year olds.
Learning Planet - Educational Games for 4 and 5 year olds.
5-7
Activity TV - Find lots of fun activities for kids, with video instructions and printables. Crafts, Magic, Puppets, Science, and more!
Game Goo - Awesome games, but your kid will be frustrated if they can't use the keyboard or read, so it's best with 6 and up.
PBS Creativity - This site has all these different online activities to really get your kid to be creative, they have explanations and understanding about each thing so it'll help if you're there to.
Go PBS kids - Lots of online games with characters they know from Go PBS kids.

Play house Disney Games - Lots of different games broken up by show.
Inkless Tales - Have several different games many of which are educational.
Pauly's Game Page - These games are just for fun. They're silly and pretty easy.
Us Mint - games about Money - some games you need to read information on the website to answer.
Learning Planet - Educational games for 6-8 year olds.
Tiny Planets - A whole bunch of games that are fun to play but teach a lesson. Good quality.
Kids Space - This website lets kids make art or stories and then display it on the web, a great teaching tool.
7 and up
Learning Planet - Educational Games for 8 and up.
Play Kids Games - These are educational games with pretty cool graphics. THere is some advertising on the page but it is only on the sides.
New York Philharmonic Kids Game Page - great activites, really well done, but you need shockwave downloaded. And click on the links to the left to do other fun activities.
Time Warp Trio - Cool educational adventures, very well done.
Midnight at the Museum - “Meet Me at Midnight” is an interactive online adventure that takes place in an animated Smithsonian American Art Museum. Intended for children age 8 to 10 years, the site presents a perplexing scenario. An artwork—the dreaded Root Monster—comes alive and wreaks havoc in the galleries overnight. Visitors choose a friend—a character that has been separated from its artwork—to help aright the mixed-up museum and find its way back home.
American Girl Game - This site has lots of different online activities to do with American girl as well as games.

Healthfinder.org - A list of 68 games for kids.
Verb Now - This involved activity lets kids make a character and then the character does activites they do. It's all about getting kids moving.
Scholastic - Older kid games, some of them are very involved, but all involve reading!

Interactive Stories
StoryPlace - I love this website that comes in English and Spanish. It has online stories and activities broken up into age levels, then it also has a reading list.
Sesame Street Stories - Some of them use flash and are read outloud (and have choose your own adventure parts) and some of them are just pictures and the parents will need to read the stories.
Play house Disney - Great stories, Disney quality illustrations.
The book of Pooh - This book website with activities is probably best for 3-5 year olds.
Storyline Online - The screen actors guild foundation has actors reading stories to kids outloud through the Internet.
Spot Stories - The kids can choose their own adventures, but the parents
have to read the words. For some of the places there are little games as well.
Lil fingers - These stories are read outloud while you press the arrow key. They're very cute, i like the potty one.
My Kids Corner - You can personalize the story by putting in your name.
Good Night stories - A whole bunch of great reading activities with stories.

Playing activities
Fun Playdates - Great ideas and products for you to use to set up playdates for your kids.
101 Ways to keep kids busy - This is a great resource in pdf form that is worth the paper to print out. Great ideas to do with your kid at home.
Better Kid Care - This is an activity finder that you can pick the age group, season and materials you have.
Huggies - Activities for your babies and toddlers you can choose age and the skill development you want to work on.
Child Fun -
Pick a topic from the list and it will give you so many activities and crafts for that activity, great for themed parties.
It has too many advertisements that pop up , but otherwise a great site.
Traditional games - Lots of games to play with a toddler.
Funology - great games for your older kids to play 5 and up. These will get their bodies moving or creative juices flowing.
Kids in Action - A great booklet broken up by age level on how to get kids moving.
Mommy and Me - Activities to do with your baby or toddler.
Parents - A HUGE list of activites and things to do.. its kind of daunting. Some advertisement.
Parents Mag Printables - Lots of great fun activities for kids.
Preschool Activities - A great list including preschool activity ziplock bags, great to take with you on the go.

Family Fun - Lots of high quality craft ideas.
Kids Domain - Lots of quality craft ideas.
The Toy Maker - This cool site has great printable toys you can make with your kids, it's really well done and oh so cute.

Creative Kids at Home - A list of crafts and ideas.
Making Friends - A great list of kids crafts and printable paper dolls.
Funology Crafts - Cool and different crafts.

TrueTown Crafts - Not too long of a list, but it has great printable resources.
Artists Helping Children - An amazing list of great art and craft ideas and projects you just have to scroll down past the advertisements, but it's worth it.
Make-Stuff - Great activities and crafts but you can only get to the ones with the arrow, the other ones you have to subscribe to.
The Art Zone - For older kids, maybe 7 and up, a really great introduction to art with fun interactive activities.

An amazing site that shows moms how to teach their kids through everyday activities.
Learning Kits - These little kit ideas are great for you to take with you or to just have around to teach your kids. You make them from household items.
Math and Science Learning Kits -
These FAMES kits have great ideas for your 3-up to your 10 year olds. Some of the items can't be printed out, but most can.
LP Rhythmix -Teaching your kid music - These ideas are thorough and well done. Worth printing out.
Rif - Reading is Fundamental gives tips on encouraging good reading habits.
