This includes the large parks that you might have to travel a bit to get to, local family fun centers, and water parks. There will be a section on water parks for next summer. To get discounted tickets to the large amusement parks check out the deals at your local township.

They have moonbounces and go karts. Kids under 3 are free on the moonbounce.

Garden Golf & Go Karts - 700 Upper State Rd. North Wales, PA 19454 - 215.393.7700
They have miniature golf, batting cages, go karts and an arcade. The costs are all different, but minigolf is $6 for 18 holes for adults and $4 for under 10.

Ozzy's Fun Center - 5411 Pottsville Pike Leesport,PA 19533 - 610.926.6162
They have mini golf, gokarts, bumper boats, roller skating, ropes course, laser tag, rock wall and an arcade. They are open Mon-Sat 10AM-10PM, and Sun 12-10PM. The cost vaires depending on what you do but they do have special packages.

Large Amusement Parks - Map of parks

They have rides and attractions and a roller skating rink. Due to flooding they are closed for this season.

Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom – 3830 Dorney Park Rd. Allentown, PA - 610.395.3724 ( 1 hour north of Norristown)
They have a special Camp Snoopy for little kids which has 17 rides and 3 water park areas for younger kids. They can also pay junior admission if they're under 48 inches tall. Dutchwonderland - 2249 Lincoln Highway East Lancaster, PA 17602 - 1.866.386.2839 ( A little over an hour west of Norristown)
This amusement park is great for little kids with rides their size as well as big rides. They also have water rides and minigolf. They are only open April thru August with hours that vary, please chekc out their calendar. HersheyPark - 100 W. Hersheypark Drive Hershey, PA 17033 - 1.800.Hershey (over an hour and a half west of Norristown)
This amusement park has rides for big and little kids, shows, and a tour of the chocolate factory. They are open May thru September with varying times so check out their calendar page. Prices vary so check out their prices page.

Knobel’s Amusement Park - Elysburg, PA (directions) - 800-487-4386
They have so many great attractions for little kids including ball crawl, space walk, boat ride, etc as well as cool stuff for adults. They are open May thru September with varying hours, check out their calednder page. You can pay per ride or pay one price for everything, check out their prices page.

Land of Make Believe - 354 Great Meadows Road Hope, NJ - 908.459.9000
They have all sorts of rides and water rides. They are open Memorial day thru Labor Day from 10AM-6PM. The prices are $19 for adults, $21 for kids 2-18, $17 for seniors, and children under 2 are free.

Sesame Place - Sesame Place - 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne, PA 19047 - 866-GO-4-ELMO (45 minutes east of Norristown) Sesame Place is the nation's only theme park based entirely on the award-winning television show Sesame Street. This place is great for kids ages 1-10. Sesame Place has rides at every level, water rides, pools, shows and characters walking around. They have a variety of live concerts, events and Sesame Street themed fireworks throughout the season, so visit the events page for more information. Sesame Place is open May through October. Six Flags Great Adventure - 1 Six Flags Boulevard Jackson, NJ 08527 - 732.928.1821 (1 hour and 15 minutes east of Norristown)
They have rides and sections for kids of all ages, shows and a great drive through safari. The park is only open April thru October with varying hours, check out their calendar page to find out when. The price also varies check out their prices page. You can often get a free admission with the purchase of 1 ticket with Coke cans - look for deals.

Storybook Land -6415 Black Horse Pike Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 - 609.641.7847 (1 hour and 15 minutes southeast of Norristown)
Their rides are storybook themed with rides for even 2 year olds. They are open March thru December with varying hours check out their calendar page. The cost is $18.95 for all adults and children over 12 months. Kids under 12 months are free.
