During the nice weather it's great to go to local farms to check out the animals, go on hayrides, pick-your-own fruit at orchards, and find local farmers markets. They have a pumpkin patch, educational tours, group parties and pick your owns.
They have pick-your-own strawberries and pumpkins, Sat. night hayrides with music, haunted hayrides in September & October, a petting zoo and educational programs for kids.

They have so many great kids activities including a barnyard jump, cornmaze, baby chick hatchery, logic mazes, and a farm ed center. A little far but definitely worth the trip. While you are there check out Make-a-friend workshop and learn about Amish Culture.

This dairy farm has cows, and a petting zoo with goats, pigs, ducks, rabbits, and chickens, a plant nursery, a playground, and a natural spring faucet where you can fill your own bottles. There is Pertruccis ice cream and water ice.

They have climbing rocks, space net, pathfinder, pedal-n-go track, and a whole bunch of farm animals in their discovery Barnyard for kids up to age 8. The also have fruit picking, hayrides and more.

They have hayrides, animals to see, great homemade ice cream, and lots of fun fall activities like pick your own pumpkins and a cornmaze. you can see the cows being milked 3:30-6PM.

It has pick-your-own pumpkins and other fall things, tractor rides to the field, animals to see, and a creamery for ice cream. They do have tour groups and birthday parties as well as a brand new children's book about themselves.

This educational farm teaches about sustainable food systems. They also have children's programs, community workshops, and wildlife habitat demonstrations.

They have tours from 9AM-3PM April to September where you can plant seeds, take a wagon ride, pick fruit and more. They also have different events all year long.

On this 300 acre demonstration farm, you can meet the animals and tour the Butterfly House. An interpretive nature trail ends at a catch & release fishing pond. There are also special events including a Spring Sheep Shearing day. No charge for entry though some fees for special events like wagon rides!
