Playgrounds

Use this neat part of this website to find all the cool playgrounds in your area, or go on an adventure to a new playground in a different township. Most links include description and we're working on getting pictures. Playgrounds -
There are hundreds of playgrounds here mapped on google maps, click on one of the 8 areas below and a google page will load up with the map and playgrounds. You can click on the blue marker to find out what ameneties are at the park ( basketball court, restrooms, etc.), but everyone has a playground. You can also use google to then find directions from your house to the park, check the blue marker, some are only approximate locations. Please note, there are LOTS of parks, so google might take a bit of time to load... but trust me its worth it. The Northeast and east sections are still under construction.

Five Star Playgrounds - Worth the trip even if you don't live close.

Doylestown Kids Castle Park - Kids' Castle is an eight story wooden playground apparatus. It was designed and named by children of Doylestown Township through an art contest in 1996 . It's really an amazing place, but it can get crowded with bigger kids in the summer, so you might want to visit during off peak hours. Mandarach Playground -This playground in Limerick is on ZieglerRd. off of Swamp Rd. is located in the Limerick Community Park. This playground is completely enclosed with only one entrance. It has a huge slide in the middle which separated the park into play equipment for older kids on one side and for younger kids on the other side. It has lots of different activities to keep your child entertained for hours. There is a shaded pavillion, a snack shop, and a restroom. All of the facilities were very clean. Upper Gwenydd Township Park - This park right off of Sumney Town Pike in North Wales is a must. It is almost all shaded with everything you could think of to do at a park. It has a very large slide to go down that older kids will like, there is a great sandbox with buckets and shovels and so much more. There are picnic tables and a bathroom in the building next store. This is my particular favorite of all the parks.
